The images transport the viewer to India, to the village of Ludia – a place where life has flowed silently, at its own pace, for generations. But there come moments when you have to leave behind the familiar land, the home yard and the sounds of the village.

Giving up is not just the end – it is part of the great cycle of life to which we all belong. Everyday life can be fragile, but it is what carries a person through crises and changes.

The film was originally made for Magi Viljanen’s Ram Ram Ludia photography exhibition. Now it is being shown in a re-edited version at the Sammatti Film Festival.
