Our volunteer recruitment for the Sammatti Film Festival 2026 is officially open!

Volunteers play an essential role in making the festival happen, and we would love to have you on the team.

Requirements & Perks

Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Commitment: Volunteers must be ready to commit to their assigned tasks and shifts. The minimum requirement is one 4-hour shift per volunteering day. There are generally 3 shift options per day across several activities.

Perks: For each day you volunteer, you will receive a complimentary meal and a day pass to watch the screenings (e.g., if you volunteer for two days, you receive a two-day pass).

How to Apply

Please apply by July 31st by filling out the form. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received.

Volunteer Roles

Information Desk:
Open during all festival hours. Your responsibility is selling tickets and to provide information about the screenings, schedules, film age restrictions, and general inquiries.

Ticket Checking:
Positioned at the entrances before each screening starts. You will collect/scan tickets, ensure the age limits for the films are respected, and track attendee numbers for each screening.

Parking Guide:
Direct attendees to available parking spots to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and maximize parking space.

Assembly & Disassembly:
This role takes place the day before the festival begins and day after (Friday & Monday). Your duty is to set up and tear down equipment, such as chairs, desks, and signage.
