The budding darkness of autumn invites you to experience the magic of cinema, in the beautiful and tranquil landscapes of Sammatti. During the weekend, you’ll be able to delve into feature films, documentaries and discussions with guests at the Lohilammen Taidenavetta.

The people and nature of the Arctic region are at the heart of this year’s program. Life and stories that tell of persistence, perseverance and adaptability emerge from the barren and beautiful land. The ever-changing environment shapes its inhabitants and gives rise to unique cultures. Sometimes change and external pressure come with force, causing uncertainty and resistance.
